ADRIA

The ADRIA solid wood chair is inspired by the renowned Windsor chairs, which date back to the Gothic period, which saw a great revival in the English town of the same name around the 1700s. Originally conceived as a country chair, it is now reinterpreted and reimagined in its form in order to become a modern piece of furniture. Each component of the chair is grafted into the central part of the seat, and the vertical bars of the backrest make it comfortable, light and, with the addition of the molded external elements, also ergonomic. The wide seat is supported by turned solid wood legs with final tapering, which give ADRIA a greater sense of lightness. The results of years of craftsmanship can be seen in the sinuous line of the backrest, made by bending the solid wood using steam. The chair perfectly exemplifies the principles of good design: its shape and structure enhance the authenticity of the materials, in a simple and elegant line with a graceful aesthetic.
