ALPINA DOLOMITES

LANDO’S MATERIAL ELEGANCE IN THE NEW DESIGN OF THE DOLOMITES

For the redesign of COMO Alpina Dolomites, LANDO collaborates with Paola Navone and OTTO Studio, developing custom furniture and lighting that reinterpret the region’s artisanal traditions through a contemporary sensibility.

In the guest rooms, sandblasted solid wood lacquered in white, iron surfaces, and ceramic details form a dialogue of light and material. Shades of ice, sky, and stone evoke the alpine landscape, shaping interiors that are both essential and embracing.

Among the most distinctive pieces are the 4.30 metre consoles in solid wood and iron — technical feats of balance and precision — and the minibar cabinets featuring blown Murano glass panels.
Tables, side tables, bookcases, coat racks, and lamps in turned solid wood extend the same coherent language of proportions, materials, and tactile expression throughout the spaces.
The composition is completed by ceramic lamps, suspended from ceilings or mounted on walls, which bring a soft, poetic glow to the rooms and the hotel bar.

Each element is developed from original drawings or adapted from LANDO’s collections in new sizes and finishes — a reflection of the company’s flexibility and deep craftsmanship.

The location

Set on the Alpe di Siusi in South Tyrol, within a UNESCO World Heritage site, COMO Alpina Dolomites is a modern architectural landmark in dialogue with its landscape. Local materials and contemporary comfort merge to create an immersive experience of alpine hospitality.

At COMO Alpina Dolomites, this collaboration translates into interiors of harmony, coherence, and quiet sophistication — an expression of LANDO’s ability to interpret each project’s identity with elegance and precision.
