The glaze, necessary to make the material waterproof, leaves room for the raw material of the ceramic biscuit in the casting. The enamel thus rests on the inside of the hood and on the lid, accentuating the materiality and strength of the material.

With the FUTURA collection, Paola Navone reinvents the shapes of Baroque-inspired ceramics and transforms the objects of the artisan workshops in the Bassano del Grappa and Nove areas into exceptional elements of contemporary decoration. Immediately fascinated by these objects, the designer draws inspiration from them to create timeless elegant elements.
Sinuous lines dance in elegant swirls and the varying volumes and the encounter of the glaze with the ceramic biscuit. The internal enamelling overflows with inexact elegance on the outer edge, thus revealing the essence of the porous material.
