FUTURA 23 - 24
The chandelier that brings with it the light of white ceramics and the elegance of a timeless tradition.
In the FUTURA collection, Paola Navone re-invents the shapes of Baroque-inspired ceramics, transforming the objects of the traditional artisan businesses of Bassano del Grappa and Nove in the Vicenza area in Italy, from which she drew inspiration, into contemporary decorative elements.
The objects of the collection, now free from their traditional colored glazing and the decorative excess typical of the Baroque style, are now able to let the shapes and volumes prevail, enhanced by the purity of the white material.
FUTURA 23 chandelier is a combination of shapes, volumes and decorations. The base, square or triangular, recalls Baroque decorative motifs and supports several volumes that seem to move fluidly along the neck of the chandelier, recalling the melting of a candle wax. The plate and the top of this design object are illuminated by white glaze.

baroque decor
FUTURA 23 is a triumph of shapes and decorative elements. From the decorated base, triangular or squared, the eye moves upwards between the sinuosities of the curved shapes to focus on the garland inspired by the natural world, which dominates the central part of the chandelier. The decorations continue in the glazed upper part that elegantly closes this precious chandelier.
the glazing
The glaze, necessary to make the material waterproof, lets the raw material of the ceramic bisque emerge in the casting, lying in the inner part of the bonnet and on the lid, thus accentuating the materiality of this design piece of furniture.

FUTURA
The FUTURA ceramic vase series catches the eye and lets the mind wander to exotic places and undefined times.
Faithful to a tradition closely linked to the territory, the Bassano white ceramic biscuit takes shape through the skilful hands of artisan ceramists. The initial and careful selection of raw materials gives the element its snow-white and dreamy appearance capable of capturing the attention within the environment. The true nature of the element, its romantic notes and material appearance are the mature fruit of a process that combines design and tradition. These luxurious vases have the mark of hand-enamelling on the outer rim, where the enamel meets the porous material and changes its essence. The white dreamlike shapes place the FUTURA series outside of time and space.
