GINGER chest rediscovers the suggestive power of wood, reshaping tradition through the search of unusual pairings of shapes and textures. The design lines are inspired by the creative Caribbean architecture but by respecting only two dimensions. Equipped with three wide drawers, the chest of drawers is made of solid wood with surface finishes that let its true nature shine through. The steel details awaken the material veins of wood exposed by the superficial sandblasting of the saw cut. The handmade weathered steel handles respect the winding shapes of the profiles and recall a past time that gives a timeless power to the object.

The handles are a paean to craftsmanship. Entirely designed and manufactured by the wise hands of craftsmen, these weathered steel details reproduce the exotic lines of the profiles of the drawers.

Is the wood used solid?
LANDO products are made entirely of solid wood, except for some parts made of wood veneer due to surface stability issues (solid wood is a ‘living’ material and therefore susceptible to slight movements depending on the environment in which it is placed).
