GINGER - Solid durmast wood padded chair
- Design by Paola Navone
- Saw-cut solid oak frame
- Upholstered seat and backrest
- Seat height: 42 cm
Inspired by the characteristic features of the Caribbean architectural style, the GINGER armchair regains its third dimension by taking new depths and shapes with Baroque proportions. The structure of the object is completely made of solid oak wood and boasts the particular surface effect of the handmade saw cut. The fabrics, with gaudy patterns and colors, enhance the different finishes of the wooden structure. The seat and the backrest, showing another characteristic detail, are joined to the structure by nails inserted manually. The armchair creates an unexpected house view, which is magical and beyond time.
