IL LANCIATORE DI COLTELLI - Mirror with solid wood base
- Design by Nicola Gisonda
- LED-backlit glass inserts
- Mirror on front and sides
- Base and back in oiled solid walnut
The traditional wall mirror is revisited and given a new significance. The world of the circus, with its tricks and performances, enters the everyday living space through IL LANCIATORE DI COLTELLI ("the knife thrower"). Extra clear crystal sections are perpendicularly inserted into the reflecting surface, as if they were knives thrown around a human shape. Backlit by a warm LED light, the details that adorn the wall mirror create a suggestive effect, recalling the thrills of a juggling performance.

The environment changes appearance and becomes welcoming, thanks to the right light and the refined taste of LANDO design lamps. Careful research, exceptional design and Italian craftsmanship: these are the elements that make LANDO ceramic products so unique.
Ceramic, porcelain and stoneware biscuits are transformed by Paola Navone's thought into decorative and lighting objects, with a classic style capable of communicating with the contemporary.
The simple and essential shapes thus make these lighting elements sophisticated and elegant, placing them outside of time and space. However, their materiality and the dialogue with a European and Eastern historical memory make them immediately familiar.
