On the cusp between reality and fantasy, ancient forms are redefined in a new sensibility
From the flavor of the past that its lines evoke to memory, the Bernini round table is reinterpreted and redefined according to modern canons. The design lines, inspired by the furnishing style of the bourgeois social class of the 1800s, are simplified. Traditional proportions and surfaces with a matte, chalky appearance come together in a piece of furniture of great decorative strength designed for today's architecture. The "spoked" shaped legs that radiate from the central leg, skillfully turned in solid wood, give solid support to the structure of the base, which is able to hold up the top even in the extendable version.
