Essential lines and extreme functionality: the chair that revisits the timeless Shaker style.
The Shaker style, which spread in the community of the same name in the United States in the 19th century, is characterized by natural hues, furnishing pieces with essential lines, and extreme functionality. The chair MILANO, with its design lines and the all-new juxtaposition of the materials, connects past expressiveness with a touch of modernity. The structure of the furnishing object is entirely made of solid walnut or cherry wood and leaves space for an ergonomic padded cushion on the seat. Its slender form draws attention to the intricate backrest in Vienna straw, which allows soft and comfortable support that makes the seat an object with a warm conviviality.

surprising comfort
Incorporated by the structure of the chair, the cushion reflects the clean lines of the design. The seams, refined on purpose, are the result of the union between the attention to details and craftsmanship.

the all-new combinations
The Vienna straw, which became of common use with the design icon Chair 14 by Thonet, uses rattan drawn into minimum thickness wires. The weave conveys a high comfort and ductility to the backrest, without giving up to sturdiness.

the artisanal soul
The MILANO chair is a paean to the expressiveness of solid wood. The wood, used with high thickness and in a single piece, goes alongside the entire structure with its veins that enhance the peculiar features of the walnut and cherry wood.
