The elegance of white ceramic and the baroque-inspired decorations for a unique design object.
In the FUTURA collection, Paola Navone re-invents the shapes of Baroque-inspired ceramics, transforming the objects of the traditional artisan businesses of Bassano del Grappa and Nove in the Vicenza area in northern Italy, from which she drew inspiration, into contemporary decorative elements.
The objects of the collection, now free from their traditional colored glazing and the decorative excess typical of the Baroque style, are now able to let the shapes and volumes prevail, enhanced by the purity of the white material.
The FUTURA 21 cookie jar evokes baroque shapes and decors, leaving a new and modern decorative force to emerge.
Supported by four elegant feet, the white ceramic is decorated with motifs inspired by the natural world and the volumes move on precise geometries expanding outwards. The finely decorated lid rests on the figure, giving this object further grace. The elegance of white ceramic and the decorations of this element of the collection, make it perfect for any type of home environment.

FUTURA 21 is enhanced by refined decorative lines -inspired by the natural world- that highlight the strength of the volumes. The four corners of the cookie jar repeat a plot that evokes ancient columns and pillars, works of a distant architecture. Among the forms of this design element you can recognize references to sacred objects, chests and precious objects, references that confirm the value of this ceramics.
the glazing
The glaze, necessary to make the material waterproof, lets the raw material of the ceramic bisque emerge in the casting, lying in the inner part of the bonnet and on the lid, thus accentuating the materiality of this design piece of furniture.
