A delicate and sensual design item
In the FUTURA collection, Paola Navone re-invents the shapes of Baroque-inspired ceramics, transforming the objects of the traditional artisan businesses of Bassano del Grappa and Nove in the Vicenza area in northern Italy, from which she drew inspiration, into contemporary decorative elements. The objects of the collection, now free from their traditional colored glazing and the decorative excess typical of the Baroque style, are now able to let the shapes and volumes prevail, enhanced by the purity of the white material.
The FUTURA 11 jug soars up with sensuality and elegance. The curves and decorative elements of the handle continue along the beak, which stretches inviting outwards. The glaze gives light to the upper part of the jug, the volumes modulate the reflection of light, slimming the figure.

baroque dialogue
Baroque means a sensual dialogue between art and nature: so in the FUTURA 11 white ceramic curves and volumes communicate with one another. The lower part of the vase is refined by the decorative motif and the refined stand.
the glazing
The glaze, necessary to make the material waterproof, lets the raw material of the ceramic bisque emerge in the casting, lying in the inner part of the bonnet and on the lid, thus accentuating the materiality of this design piece of furniture.
