The refined glazed ceramic combines with sandblasted solid wood, defining a new harmony in SILHOUETTE.
Solid wood meets ceramic and gives life to an unusual pairing that is inspired by the Caribbean gingerbread art and architecture. The SILHOUETTE bookshelf stands out for its supporting system: the shelves are in fact held by aluminum supports, coated by Bassano ceramic vases. Crafted by expert potters, the vases have a double function: they hold the shelves and represent a decoration element that is able to mix with the objects inserted in the bookshelf. The texture of the wooden structure and the raw and non-smoothed effect of the saw cut edges, contrast the refined finish of the ceramics, creating a mix between tradition and innovation.

The SILHOUETTE bookshelf is a paean to the expressiveness of solid wood. Selected and elaborated by expert craftsmen, the matter lets its natural features shine through thanks to the sandblasting and the handmade saw cut.

Right since the 18th century, Bassano del Grappa is well-known for its ancient artisanal manufacturing of ceramics and porcelain. This tradition has been handed down for over three centuries, which is able to keep its own products in the same shape and quality of the past.
