HAUTE COUTURE bookshelf is born from the encounter of two materials with a contrasting soul: a bookcase with exotic origins that invites you to discover distant worlds and leads to a dreamlike dimension, giving a touch of originality to the house. The load-bearing frame with stand, chromed or galvanized, supports and enhances the shelves of the bookcase, in sandblasted and hand-brushed lacquered solid wood: a treatment that gives the wood a more contemporary look. The planks that make up the top are tied one to one with abaca cord, obtained from the treatment of hemp. A concept that recalls the image of a raft, built in a rudimentary way on a deserted island ready to sail.

the handcrafted details
Processed by handmade saw-cutting, the edges of the individual boards enhance the materiality of the wood. The material aspect of the furniture complement is strengthened by the strong expressiveness of the abacá rope, obtained from the treatment of hemp.
