In the FUTURA collection, Paola Navone re-invents the shapes of Baroque-inspired ceramics and transforms the objects of the artisan workshops of the territory of Bassano del Grappa and Nove, whose fascination she drew inspiration from, into exceptional elements of contemporary decoration.
Stripped of the traditional colored glazes, the objects of the collection lose the baroque decorative excess and allow the shapes and volumes to triumph, accentuated by the purity of the white matter.
The unique style of the FUTURA 16 jug is the secret of its elegance: from the pedestal that supports the wide base, finely adorned by the refined repeated leaf, the look goes up towards the neck, refined from the vertical carving to the point of hug of the gentle lines of the handle, which expands the space and dominates the figure.

baroque motives
Thanks to the ridges along the neck and the curved lines of the handle, the FUTURA 16 jug stretches upwards. The enamel gives light to the upper part of the vase. In the lower part, the volume and the nature-inspired decorative motif are repeated, giving the jug decorative strength and elegance.
the glazing
The glaze, necessary to make the material waterproof, lets the raw material of the ceramic bisque emerge in the casting, lying in the inner part of the bonnet and on the lid, thus accentuating the materiality of this design piece of furniture.
